The Hidden Advantage in Our Software That Even I Didn't See Coming

I've been working on Paminga's guts for years, and I just realized something jaw-dropping about our marketing, messaging, and positioning.

Enterprise software is a beast โ€” overwhelming, cluttered, a nightmare to learn. Paminga's architecture flips that on its head.

As we designed the technical architecture of Paminga, we tried very hard to be prudent.

We worked to ensure key components would be re-useable. This makes our dev team faster & more efficient. It's also easier to troubleshoot and enhance things.

What I did not anticipate is what it would mean for our customers, and therefore our messaging and positioning. Here's what I mean:

The tool for controlling layouts in our form builder: we re-used it in our new email builder, landing page builder, and CTA builder.

So if you want to personalize a section in an email, it's exactly the same to personalize a landing page, form, or dynamic CTA.

If you know how to use one of these tools, you know how to use them all.

This means there's way less to learn. That was a revelation to me.

The architecture of Paminga's Actions is similar. The same actions are re-used everywhere actions can be triggered in the platform. No matter where you go, you already know how to use them.

Again, way less to learn.

We did the same thing with conditions.

There are multiple places where our customers can make things conditional:

  • Audience participation
  • When & why a workflow should branch
  • What records to include in an export, report, or dashboard
  • Triggering actions conditionally (anywhere in the platform)
  • Conditions for lead scoring rules and lead qualification thresholds

In every one of these places, the tool used to set conditions is the same.

There are no questions about how to set up conditions. Customers get used to it quickly because it's always the same.

Consistency is everywhere. I think this is HUGE.

The problem with enterprise-capable software is all the stuff you've gotta learn and remember to make use of it.

This is why many marketers use their marketing automation platform like it's MailChimp, just blasting out emails.

A customer recently told me she'd spent weeks learning her last platform โ€” only to forget half of it. With Paminga, she nailed it in a few days.

What Paminga is becoming is stunning to me.

Enterprise-capable software is always terribly complicated, right?

Marketers are right to be scared of it.

Every software vendor on the planet will say that their software is easy to learn and use.

We've got something better โ€” consistency that cuts the learning curve. So how do we message this effectively?

This is something I'm working on right now. If you've got thoughts, I'd love to hear them. Let me know on LinkedIn or X.
