Image Element
The use of an Image on a form serves several purposes, depending on the context and the goals of the form's design.
Common uses of images on forms include:
- Branding and Identity: Adding your brands logo or other images that are consistent with your brands standards
- Provide guidance using icons and visual cues
- Step by step assistnace / instruction
- Personalization such as event of webinar photos
Add an Image Element to your Form
To add an Image element to your form select the orange + icon within the builder and then select "Image".
Once selected the Paminga File Manager will pop up in which you can select any uploaded images, or add a new image via an upload.
Once an image has been selected you can then edit the image settings on the right hand side of the screen.
Image Element Settings
Under the image element settings there are various options to set.
These include:
- File: The file is the image link from the Paminga File Manager. If you wish to update the image, select the icon on the right side of the file field and the File Manager will pop up
- Alternate Text: Add alternate text to improve accessibility
- Link: Use this checkbox to add a link to your image. Once selected you can input the link and check the checkbox if you would like the link to open in a new window
- Border Radius: Use the slider or input the pixel size to set the borders radius
Layout
Under the layout tab you have the ability to edit the layout of the field on the form.
Conditions
By default the field is set to show always. That said, you have the ability to edit the fields visibilty to conditionally display.
If you would like to edit the visibilty of the form field update the settings under the conditions tab.
